Job Description

We are seeking a Community Outreach and Influencer marketing manager who will help us develop and then execute a successful Influencer program that accelerates sales. This manager will identify, recruit, excite, and support individuals who have built audiences of and command the respect of our current or future customers. These individuals represent a significant indirect sales channel, as their recommendation or endorsement of SellHound will enable us to reach more customers in less time and with greater credibility. Some of these individuals may also decide to become affiliates of SellHound, earning a commission on the sales of SellHound’s service.

Our ideal candidate is an avid reseller.  She/he has a passion for buying and selling secondhand and is involved in some form of online community about this subject.  Ideally she/he already has an online presence, sharing information about buying and selling secondhand fashion and other items on eBay and other marketplaces.



  • Help design a program to meet SellHound business goals, including tactics, milestones, and metrics for success
  • Identify and prioritize influential online resellers and influencers
  • Recruit resellers and influencers to place stories about SellHound’s app, SellHound’s sellers, interesting insights from SellHound listings, and other topics that keep SellHound at the top of mind
  • Support resellers and influencers in creating original content that explains, reviews, or endorses SellHound
  • Create content that can be reported or easily adjusted by our resellers and influencers
  • Establish a sustainable, strategic approach to influencers based on adding value to media outlets and event managers
  • Collaborate with others on the growing marketing team
  • Work with and report to the Chief Marketing Officer 



  • BA or BS degree or equivalent working experience
  • Proven track record in outreach campaign strategies and social media marketing
  • Experience in public relations or relationship management
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written content
  • Well organized with great time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • “Lightweight” design experience (e.g. Canva)
  • Networking aptitude
  • The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment


Preferred Experience

While not required, the following would be very helpful for this position:

  • Experience selling on secondhand on eBay 
  • Knowledge of fashion
  • Experience creating at least one of the following: a blog, a podcast, an Instagram presence, or a YouTube channel


Hours and Compensation

This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.

The salary range depends on experience.

Job Description

We’re looking for a freelance Mid Level Full Stack Developer with 4+ years experience as a software engineer, who will take a key role on our team. You must have knowledge and talent in all stages of software development. You’ll be working alongside other engineers, developers, research and product team, collaborating to develop our SaaS applications.


Typical Tasks

  • Help to improve the functionality, UI and efficiency of the company’s internal web tools designed to scale productivity while ensuring production quality. Experience with responsive design and UI/UX best practices a plus.
  • Contribute to research, design, and development related to the company’s automation / AI efforts including our proprietary automation and M/L systems. Experience deploying scalable AI/ML models a plus.
  • Contribute to the development of the SellHound product for consumers (mobile app, and any new products developed).
  • Contribute to the maintenance/updates of the WordPress Marketing website, BI marketing and analytics.
  • Work to ensure excellent code quality and integrity by learning and employing developer best-practices, including use of version control, testing, documentation, and participating in code reviews.
  • Support implementation of data protection and best security practices.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to fix bugs and launch new features.



Skills and Qualifications

  • BA Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4 Years of experience in software development or equivalent



Required Skills

  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
  • Comfortable with application hosting in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudfront, etc.)
  • Experience with DataBase Management (Postgres, Django/Flask)
  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages libraries and frameworks (PHP, Python, Java, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of server-side languages 
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and development of Restful APIs.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git, Mercurial or SVN)
  • Knowledge of System Architecture and best practices



Desired Skills

  • Mobile experience (React Native preferred)
  • AI/ML/NLP experience
  • eBay API/ecommerce experience

Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Data Scientist


Job Description

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will help develop the products listed above, with a primary focus on scaling of our internal AI and automation efforts. You will be working primarily on customer-facing computer vision tools for image understanding, working with one of the richest databases of object photographs and also leveraging external services. You will be self-directed and can take ownership of the infrastructure of our company while also being curious, collaborative, and possessing good communication skills.



  • Collaborate with the engineering team on existing AI roadmap
  • Lead data collection and train & evaluate models
  • Deploy production-ready models for our applications
  • Research and evaluate external services in comparison to in-house capabilities


Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ Years experience building computer vision systems.
  • Experience managing data for machine learning (data labeling, crowdsourcing, etc)
  • Proficient in Python and (ideally) Jupyter notebooks 
  • Strong software engineering skills
